MUSEUM EXHIBITION
Palisade Hoax is a museum exhibit that brings to life the history of the 1870's town of Palisade Nevada. During a three year period the people of Palisade NV, put on elaborate staged events like shoot offs, robberies, and hangings to attract and shock those who were traveling on the Transcontinental Railway. The viewer is taken on an adventure to observe the shenanigans put on by the town, and to take a peek into the behind the scenes of the town-wide theatrics. The exhibition is filled with photos of Palisade, as well as the stories and interactions that led to the beginning of the hoax. The use of interior and exterior graphics, along with tactile narrative literature allow the viewer to experience and learn about the hoax of Palisade in a fun and immersive way.
